We are currently looking for a vibrant, energetic, and committed individual to join our team as a Cheesemonger and Shop Assistant.

About the business:

The Cheese Shop is a family-owned and operated business. We source the most fabulous cheeses from around the world to sell direct to our customers here in the Perth Hills.

About the role:

Day-to-day tasks that will be required by this role include:

· Assist with opening and closing the shop

· Provide exceptional customer service (and we mean exceptional)

· Cutting and wrapping of cheese

· Great communication and interpersonal skills

· Working well within a team

· Food preparation and fast-paced food service

· Stocking and maintenance

· Stock take

Hours Required:
Every Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a people person who LOVES CHEESE.
While cheese knowledge is not essential to apply, you will be required to learn our vast range of cheeses and other products, including the origin of the cheeses/products and the stories behind them.

This role requires delivering exceptional and friendly service, often within a dynamic, fast-paced setting. We are on the lookout for someone who is capable of providing a delightful, memorable experience for our customers during their visits.

The ideal candidate should be able to work on their feet all day, be punctual, honest and reliable. Availability to work weekends and during the festive Christmas/New Year period is absolutely essential. Applicants must be over the age of 18 and be eligible to work in Australia.
